Pilar Winter Hill is a 19 year old Juilliard Trained Classical Violinist from Brooklyn, NY.  Beginning her Violin Studies over 13 years ago, Pilar has amassed support of over 435K Instagram Followers garnering over 100+ Million Views on her Viral Performance Videos, and has gained over 60K Followers on her brand new TikTok.  Accepted to the prestigious Juilliard Pre-College Program at age 9, Miss Hill was hailed by Teen Vogue in 2019 as one of 21 Under 21: Young People Changing the World. 

Making history at age 13, Pilar placed 2nd out of 47 Solo Competitors from around the globe in the prestigious Andrea Postacchini International Violin Competition 26th Edition, featured on the Violin Channel, that took place in Fermo, Italy. This appointment led her to become the very First African-American Major Prizewinner in an International Violin Competition. 

Niece of NBA great, Armond Hill, Pilar also of Filipino and Lithuanian descent, has won Top Prizes in several distinguished U.S. Competitions, including First Class Honors with Distinction from the Carnegie Hall Royal Conservatory Competition. 

In addition to Soloing at Carnegie Hall twice, Pilar travels extensively giving Private Concerts in the U.S., Europe and China, at numerous renowned global venues such as; Lincoln Center, the Staples Center, Madison Square Garden, DiMenna Center for Classical Music, Teatro dell’Aquila in Italy, La Clef Louvre - Paris, Hotel Lancaster Paris - Champs-Élysées, Nomad Hotel, BAM Fisher, The Jiangyin Zilan Theatre - China, British Royal Patronage- Evelina Children's Hospital, COMO the Halkin- London and the Royal District of Madrid’s Grand Palacio de Los Duques to name but a few. 

Ms. Hill returned to Europe in the Fall of 2024 to headline several concerts in both Paris and Edinburgh, including; Greyfriars Hall, Edinburgh and the historic Marlene Dietrich Suite in the Hotel Lancaster Paris - Champs-Élysées.

A Neighborhood Walk, A Musical Journey, the first Children’s Book written by Pilar Winter Hill has earned a Kirkus Review and received a Starred Review from the School Library Journal. In June of 2021, Pilar was invited to serve as a Guest Speaker and Performer at the renowned ALA Annual Conference. Her 3+ page interview with renowned Strings Magazine was featured in the March/April 2021 issue and she made her National Television debut on the Kelly Clarkson Show in 2021. That year she was also invited to give a Special Performance as part of the Prada FW 2021 Virtual Show launched during Milan Fashion Week.
